Back in time: Performers gear up for USO show to mark end of World War II

A cozy living room in Limestone was recently reeled back in time to a 1940s’ USO canteen when several performers rehearsed World War II-era songs for the upcoming “70 Years of Red, White and Blue for World War II” show.

The performance will be staged at 7:30 p.m. May 30 in the Bromeley Family Theater at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Proceeds will benefit the Eldred World War II Museum and McKean County Historical Society in Smethport.
