Author to Speak on Lesser-Known Aspects of World War II at Eldred Museum

The Eldred World War II Museum and Learning Center will welcome Jan Jarboe Russell, author of “The Train to Crystal City,” to speak today on the lesser-known aspects of the war in honor of Memorial Day.

At 2 p.m. in Mitchell Paige Hall at the museum, located at 201 Main St., Eldred, Russell will speak about her book, which tells the dramatic and never-before-told story of a secret FDR Approved American Internment Camp in Texas during World War II.
